I'm pregnant and it's a boy! He's due July 13.
I got a new job where part of my responsibility is to write lesson plans, which I should be doing now. Ahem.
Dear Editor is still going well. Except for some slowness during the holidays, we've kept to a regular schedule.

As of this moment, we still plan to go to Animazement, so wish me luck on that one.

My sister and I started a podcast about literary things: Dear Editor I've been listening to a lot of podcasts! I've linked my favorites at the Dear Editor site.

I've still had more time than I know what to do with, as far as writing goes. I've been working on various other projects since finishing the first draft of BWA. I like to wait a bit before editing, to distance myself from that initial euphoria of finishing a work.

I'm putting my Psych degree to good use, but not at full time hours, which vaguely concerns me. I'm lucky enough that my husband's job pays the bills, but I would still like a full time job.

I was sick with a cold all last week, but I finally feel like myself again. Yesterday I got to chat with one of our friends who lives overseas, which I wouldn't have been able to do if I hadn't been sick.

No babies yet. >:D

36,000 words in Bowling with Aliens. GO ME.

This Tuesday Erin and I drove out to see Orson Scott Card in Greensboro!

I've kept at writing this past couple of days, and I'm getting to the part of my story I would describe as "?" ... and then the end. I have a vague idea of the end of Bowling with Aliens, but little idea as to how I should get it there, except that something should happen at the climax. Haha

I've read a lot less, but the book I'm reading is by Poul Anderson and I do find it interesting.

I also opened up that RP I mentioned, and got quite a number of responses. Now I just have to be patient as every thing falls into place. The whole idea is that people won't be needing me every day, though it is more important for me to be there in the beginning to help set the tone and the boundaries and what not.

Now to pack, since we are visiting my mother in law soon.

Rayna and Vicki are both on crutches now and fairly mobile. Vicki just got her cast off the other day! (Rayna never had one). I'm looking to build up to full time now that my family doesn't need as much of my help. I didn't get to write as much as I envisioned while I was over there, but that was because I imagined I'd be over there at night, but then that turned out to be a dumb idea while still having two days of 8-5 work. I can't switch my sleeping schedule that easily.

I have read a LOT and written a good chunk, and it all feels very, very good. Writing 1k words only takes about an hour, usually less. Even with going full time by fall, I can't imagine not having the time to write every week. When I was going to school, I was working as well, and it was like a 50-60 hr week if you counted up all the time spent on homework and nasty things like that.

Right now I plan to keep one afternoon at the Boys and Girls Club, even while going full time at my new job. That still won't even approach the amount of work I had to do my last semester of school.

I'm also shutting down Feretris but, being crazy, starting a new RP at the same time. I needed a change, Feretris having run for years, but apparently not THAT much of a change, since I still want to run an RP. LOL
